Political and Social Issues

It has become fashionable for investment banks to take positions on political and social issues, perhaps because they think it will appeal to some of their clients. 

Salomon Encore does not do so. Doing so is inconsistent with our principles.  We believe it is our clients who should be the one's to express a view on such issues - not Salomon Encore. Our role is simply to help our clients to have the resources to make an impact with whatever view they choose to express.
